Thanksgiving + Anniversary
These past 5 days off have been nice and relaxing...on Wednesday Jackie and I went to the Connecticut River museum in Essex, CT...was really interesting, then Westfarms mall, the out to dinner at Lido's restaurant in Springfield...
Thursday was Thanksgiving at my cousin's appartment in Canton Mass, took forever driving because of all the heavy traffic, ahh rt 128 IS the devil...but then we drove back and went to my Aunt and Uncle's on Franksmith for dessert, and Jackie came to my house to stay overnight...
Friday was Jackie's and my one year anniversary of dating! yay!! :-)
Jackie and I left early to go to Boston, yay!! We drove to Riverside, got on the Green line, rode in to Government Center and walked to Cosi's on State Street for lunch, mmmm good!! Then we walked, all the way from basically Quincy Market to the MIT museum in Cambridge...really long walk, over the really windy and cold Longfellow Bridge, randomly wandering around MIT until we found it...its a really cool musuem, lots of robots and fun engineering type stuff, Jackie got me a T-shirt that says "Engineer's Motto: If it isn't broken, take it apart and fix it" hehe. On the way back we took the red line from Kenmore Sq to park street, went to Starbucks, and walked around the Common for a bit:
Then we got back on at park street and drove to my house, had dinner, and then put up my Christmas Village together :-) absolutly positivly fun day!! yay!!
Saturday I saw Andy G, Ozaire, and Andres, went to the new Best Buy in Enfield for a bit...
Sunday I went out to lunch with Derek, then back here to UHA, ready for a new week!!
